Builder Olusesan Mayorkun Daini, Chairman Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, this week initiated a No-Interest Revolving Loan Program for market women across the Igbogbo Baiyeku Local Council Development Area.
The program which is the first of it's kind in the Council Area began with no fewer than 40 beneficiaries at the Adeboruwa Palace in Igbogbo Kingdom.
While addressing the Market Women in his remarks; Hon. Daini said, parts of the objectives of the No-Interest Revolving Loan is to forster the businesses of the Market Women and prosper the economy of the LCDA.
"I urge all the beneficiaries to utilize the loan for its purpose accordingly to achieve the desired objective and also return the loan at its due period for other market women to benefit from.”
The Chairman at the program inaugurated the Women Endowment Committee that would oversee and manage the No-Interest Revolving Loan Program which would be chaired by Chief Mrs. Karimot Faniyi (Iyalode of Igbogbo Kingdom).
The selected beneficiaries were carefully chosen by the Committee with an eye to encourage and ensure the loan serves it's purpose.
"I wish to use this medium to enjoin all the market women to come out and support, and also cast their vote for all the APC candidates at the Gubernatorial and Assembly election next Saturday March 18." Daini stated
The first scheme of the no-interest loan will run for a year before the next set will commence.
