Education: Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA To Sponsor 100 students In Y’23 GCE Examination

The Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA has presented a total number of 100 free GCE forms to resident students within the LCDA in the bid to support indigents and fulfill campaign promises.

The Council Boss enjoined all the beneficiaries to be at their best and emulate Miss Romoke Ogunlaja, an indigine of Igbogbo who graduated with first class this year at the Lagos State University. 

“Educational growth in our Council area is a priority for our administration, which is why we are dedicated to sponsor indigents within our area to benefit from our educational programmes. I want to enjoin all the beneficiaries to do well during the GCE examination and make us as well as their parents proud.”

Builder Daini, at the presentation announced that his good friend the Managing Director of Darz Global Resources in United States of America who is also an education enthusiast and the Council will sponsor the student with the best result and second best result on a scholarship to any public university of their choice respectively. 

In addition, the chairman said, “in the course to make our beneficiaries do well in their examination, the Council will engage them in a qualitative one month tutorial to help them prepare very well before the examination in October.”



Members of the Council management and civil servants such as the Vice Chairman, Council Manager, the Council Engineer, HOD for environment, supervisors were present to Grace the occasion. 


The students during the course of the program expressed their gratitude to chairman for the the free GCE sponsorship.
