The Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) closed out its 2024 budget retreat in style, forging a strategic path for the future. Held at the Ai-Royal Hotel in Igbogbo from December 5th to 7th, 2023, the retreat focused on "Effective Socioeconomic Strategy for Enhanced Budget Implementation."

The retreat's theme resonated throughout the two days, with participants engaging in constructive dialogues aimed at uplifting the LCDA. Participants dissected the 2024 appropriations bill, sparking vibrant discussions among the Chairman, Management team, and Heads of Departments.

Executive Chairman Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini emphasized the significance of holding the retreat within the LCDA. This decision, he explained, aimed to support local businesses and promote cost-effectiveness.

The retreat was a platform for formulating a comprehensive socioeconomic strategy to maximize the impact of the 2024 budget. The discussions highlighted the LCDA's commitment to both local engagement and fiscal responsibility, reflecting its dedication to community-driven development.

Notable attendees included Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro, distinguished member of the Lagos State House Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency II, alongside other dignitaries. Their presence underscored the importance of collaboration in shaping the LCDA's future growth.
