Sola Thomas, Councilor representing Ward G in Yaba LCDA, has once again proven his deep commitment to the well-being of his constituents. Through his latest initiative, Jigi Sola, he is addressing critical health challenges in the community with care and empathy.

The program, which recently launched, provided free health services to 200 residents, including eye care, malaria treatment, blood sugar screenings, and general checkups. Eyeglasses and medications were distributed at no cost, leaving beneficiaries overwhelmed with gratitude.

The heartfelt reactions from beneficiaries highlighted the program’s impact. Mrs. Adejoke, who received eyeglasses for the first time, expressed her gratitude. “I had difficulty reading and could not afford glasses. Hon. Thomas has changed that for me. He truly cares for us,” she said, visibly emotional.

Another beneficiary, Mr. Femi, shared his relief after receiving free medication for his high blood sugar. “I had been worried about my condition but couldn’t afford treatment. This program has lifted that burden. Hon. Thomas is a blessing to this community.”

The Jigi Sola initiative is part of Hon. Thomas’ broader vision to uplift Ward G, a vision that has already seen success in other areas. From providing free JAMB forms and lessons for students to clearing drainages and installing boreholes for clean water, his leadership reflects a relentless focus on solving real problems.
